What to do now:
- Get in contact with you team, schedule a study session, or a service event to get to know one another. Also start planning for the banner and flag contests.

- Sign up for Relay for Life! The first meeting for team captains is this Wednesday, April 18th at 5 PM in MU 222. Sign up at www.relayforlife.com/corvallisor . Please sign up as an individual chapter and not as your Greek Week team.

Banner and Flag Contests:

We are happy to announce a banner contest for Greek Week. Teams can create as many banners as they choose (scores of multiple banners will be averaged) and can hang them from their chapter houses. For chapters that do not have chapter houses, we are working on finding an alternate  location where your banners can be hung if they choose to make a banner. We also will be bringing back the flag contest from last year. In this contest teams will create a flag for their team. For every event the flag is brought to, the chapters will earn points.

Social Media:

Please use the hashtag #OSUGREEKWEEK2018 for Greek Week related activities. We will also use the IFC, CGC, and Panhellenic social media accounts throughout the week to give away points so please encourage members to keep an eye on these accounts.

Dry Period:

Similarly to last year, we will be imposing a two hour buffer around event start and end times for Dry Period. Chapters will not be allowed to have reported social events two hours before, during, or two hours after Greek Week Events. We therefore are asking that Thursday evening events do not have a start time before 9 PM, Friday has no registered events (due to Relay for Life being from 6 PM to 6 AM), and Saturday only has events in the evening. Our Risk Managers will NOT approve any events that fall within these time periods.

Our committee is hard at work and looking forward to putting on a great week of events! It’s going to be out of this world!
