Are you applying for fellowships this season?

The CBEE GSA is hosting a Q&A panel with fellows from three different programs to answer your questions about fellowship programs and the application process. We encourage all prospective fellowship applicants, and all new CBEE graduate students who are still deciding, to attend.

Environmental Engineering Ph.D. Candidate Alyssa Deline received her fellowship from the National Science Foundation. This three-year fellowship is very competitive, and comes with opportunities for international research and professional development, and the freedom to conduct research at any accredited U.S. institution of graduate education the recipient chooses.

 

Environmental Engineering PhD student Hannah Rolston received her fellowship from the Department of Defense. This three-year fellowship is offered to individuals who will pursue a doctoral degree in science and engineering disciplines of military importance.

 

Chemical engineering Ph.D. candidate Ryan Frederick received his fellowship from the Semiconductor Research Corporation. The three-year award is based on the alignment of the student’s research interests with the interests of a semiconductor company, and comes with the assignment of an industry liaison at the sponsoring company.
