The opportunities for social development in the Greek community are unmatched. We are the largest student group on campus and welcome all students. The Greek community gives you the opportunity to meet and interact with literally thousands of people.
About once per week, a fraternity will pair with a sorority and have them come to the fraternity house for an evening event. These are usually themed in some fashon. These events give members a great chance to meet sorority women in a closed house event that lasts several hours.
Greek Life is very involved in the community and host events during the year that raise money for charitable organizations. For example, one sorority puts on a softball tournament that the fraternities participate in. To raise money they sell shirts and fraternity members can donate to buy "outs" that give them an advantage in the softball game. Almost every fraternity and sorority have a large scale fundraiser that the whole Greek community participates in.
