After months of hard work and planning, the Food and Fermentation Science Club held their annual Oktoberfest this past weekend at Willametter Park in Corvallis. Munching on hand-made and donated food and beverages; students, faculty, and industry professionals mingeld and enjoyed each others company. There was also an informal corn hole tournament going on. 

The club made soft pretzels, sauerkraut, root beer, and hot cider for attendees to enjoy. The rest of the food was donated by companies that have a close relationship with the club and department. 

Food companies provided many of the other delicious thinge enjoyed. Reser's Fine Foods donated hot dogs, brats, potato salad, and pasta salad. Beaverton Foods donated ketchup, mustard, and horseradish. Kroger Bakery donated all the buns. Nearly Normal's donated their vegetartian sunburgers. New Morning Bakery provided pumpkin cheesecake and cookies. Beer and hard cider was provided by Widmer Brothers, Mazama Brewing, Rivertown Brewing Company, and 2 Towns Ciderhouse.

The raffle was new this year, with prizes of four club shirts, two gift cards to Block 15, and a free club workshop were raffled off to ticketholders.

German polka music helped everyone get in the German mood as well as props for a photo booth. Everyone joined in for an enthusiastic chicken dance!
