Before coming to OSU, I worked for NGO's, land trusts, and watershed councils on conservation, restoration, and water quality issues. I have an A.A. in Liberal Arts from Maui Community College and a B.S. in Plant Biology from Portland State University.
I am originally from a small soggy town on the north Oregon coast where I first developed a strong affinity for greenish grey landscapes and outdoor recreation. I spend most of my spare time hiking, surfing, fishing, foraging, gardening, and otherwise just soaking up the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
