Biography

Professional Bio

After departing the cycling industry after a 15+ year run, I began working in water resources management with an internship at the Deschutes River Conservancy. During this time I was tasked with conducting portions of the Whychus Water Bank Feasibility Study. Following my work for the DRC I was hired by the Three Sisters Irrigation District to compose their Agricultural Water Management and Conservation Plan. After fulfilling this task for the District I turned my attention to a small consulting firm in Bend, Oregon, i.e. Ecosystem Economics LLC. I've been with EE since 2009 conducting a wide array of assignments such as a multi-use water valuation report for the FAO and a review of international PES systems for the IIED. Presently, my work is focused on facilitating water rights transactions, which are a component of NFWF's Walker Basin Restoration Program in Nevada.

Personal Bio

I'm an avid outdoorsman and get out whenever I can... rain or shine. My family moved to Oregon from Idaho in 1983 and I've been a resident ever since. I relocated to Corvallis from Bend, my home since 1999. Over the past 13 years I spent most of my time in Central Oregon propelling myself across the landscape on bikes, skis, boots, and an 86 Subaru BRAT.
