The Student Science & Policy Club at Oregon State University offers career development, networking, and educational opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students from the STEM fields who are interested in engaging at the intersection of science and public policy. Our mission is to educate our members and the broader community on the role of science in society and public decision-making, and to build a community of support for students who are passionate about using science to address sociopolitical issues.
Member expectations: we will be sending out doodle polls for members to sign up for events (to get a gauge of how many people are interested, etc.)
Please make sure to attend the events you sign up for; to be respectful towards the speakers that have traversed long distances to be here and to practice professionalism
Join us for our first swing dance of the academic year! We’re excited to be dancing at OSU once again. The evening begins with an hour long introductory swing lesson, followed by two hours of DJed music.
