National Panhellenic Conference, founded in 1902, is an umbrella organization for 26 inter/national women's fraternities and sororities around the world. OSU Panhellenic Council has 11 of the traditional Panhellenic organizations! A member group is autonomous as a social, Greek-letter society of college women and alumnae. Members are represented on over 620 college and university campuses in the United States and Canada and in over 4,600 alumnae associations, making up over 5 million sorority women in the world.

As values-based organizations, the members of NPC live their missions with their members providing millions of dollars in philanthropic support to dozens of worthy causes and pursuing millions of additional hours in community service. From supporting victims of sexual assault to leading bystander intervention programs, to fighting for body-positive campus cultures, sorority women are at the forefront of solving some of the most pressing challenges facing collegiate women today. NPC also supports a national network of collegiate and alumnae Panhellenic associations that are crucial to nurturing healthy fraternity and sorority communities. Through its programs and initiatives, NPC encourages the sharing of information, resources, and best practices to ensure the sorority experience continues to meet the needs of today’s collegiate women.

Council meetings are held on Wednesdays of even weeks at 7:00pm and are open to everyone! Feel free to email PanhellenicVP-FA@oregonstate.edu for location details.
