OSU SPS held its Winter term chapter meeting on Thursday, 2/23. We had a blast hearing from the speaker and all the new members. Here's a snapshot of what we got done:

  • Guest Speaker: Nick Cabot talked about the MS in Education at OSU. This is an excellent opportunity if you're interested in an education career path.
  • Upcoming Events
    • Spring LIGO Trip: We are starting planning for a trip up to LIGO/Hanford/PNNL. You'll hear about some initial details.
    • Movie Night: Definitely Interstellar if Kip Thorne agrees to come
  • SPS Officers: Elections are coming up! We want you!
  • SPS T-Shirts: We're designing T-shirts, and talked about some initial ideas and get your input on design, quality, and preferences
