Beyond OSU
Personal Interests:

Bred from an early age to appreciate the outdoors, I learned early to wonder at and question the processes that form the world around us. Growing up, my hometown changed from a small logging and mining town in the south Puget Sound region of Washington to a bedroom community of Seattle. Witnessing changes in the interaction of nature and society, especially around issues pertaining to water, I decided that I wanted to explore how people, trees, salmon, and water work with and against each other. I received my BS in Environmental Science from Huxley College, WWU and launched my career as a water scientist in 2005.
